Emery has nearly 30 years of technical, clinical, and managerial experience in the Green Bay, WI area.  Emery is native to Northeast Wisconsin and started his career as a technician in 1985 with Tyo & Tyo LTD. He is a US Army Combat Veteran and was deployed to Operation Desert Storm in 1991. After a six month deployment, he returned to his technician role, later starting school to become certified.  Emery worked part-time as a staff orthotist while putting himself through school and in 1998 graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration. In 2000, Emery was certified in Orthotics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC).  While in school, the company was acquired by Rehab Designs of America where he was the Area Clinic Manager for Green Bay, Manitowoc & Sheboygan. In 2004, this company was acquired by Hanger, Inc. where he was the Clinic Manager until his departure in 2014. Emery enjoys Upland and Deer hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and spending quality family time with his wife and 3 young children.


Education & Work Experience
1985 Started working at Tyo & Tyo Ltd as a orthotic technician after school as a Co-Op Student

Graduated in 1987 and immediately entered the US Army as a Light Wheel Mechanic

1987 - 1989  US Army

1989-1990 Orthotic technician at The Brace Centers, Ltd.

1991 Activated for Operation Desert Shield / Storm Saudi Arabia / Kuwait and Operation Provide Comfort in Northern Iraq until June 1991

1991-1997 Staff Orthotist at The Brace Centers Ltd:  During this period, he got an Associated Degree in Business Administration

1992 - 1994 from NWTC Green Bay, obtained his certification in 1995 from the Board of Certification (BOC) in Orthotics, and graduated from the Orthotic Practitioner program at Century College in White Bear Lake, MN 1995 -1996.

1997 - 2004 Area Practice Manager for Rehab Designs of American:  During this period, Emery graduated from Lakeland College 1996-1998 and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, completed a 1 year residency program, and later in 2000 was certified in Orthotics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). 

2004 - 2014 Clinic Manager for Hanger Inc:  During this time he was among the leading orthotic practitioners in the Midwest Market and received numerous awards for growth & performance.

2015 - current ~ Clinic Manager Align Clinic Green Bay & Stevens Point.

Throughout his career he has treated a wide range of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with numerous conditions. He has special interest in Cranial Remolding Orthoses for Deformational Plagiocephaly, Functional Electronic Stimulation using the WalkAide, Stance Control devices for paraplegics, and Scoliosis with various techniques.  He joined Align Clinic on January 5, 2015 and looks forward to the challenging role of expanding the company's presence in the Midwest!

Emery's Testimonials

In my experience with Emery, he was so kind and considerate of all my daughter’s needs. He adjusted our old brace to fit when she is at swim meets so she doesn't ruin her new one and fit our newest brace. I'm happy to say that the correction in our new brace is great thanks to him and Grant! He takes a lot of time individually adjusting the brace and addresses any concerns you might have. Anywhere the brace makes you sore, he does the best he can to fix the brace without giving up correction. He is a talented and considerate orthotist and I highly recommend him for anyone in Wisconsin that finds it easier to travel to his office.
